You may link to the report here: <a href=\"http:\/\/ausablevalleyaudubon.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/KIWA-Tours-Report-2016-final.pages.pdf\">KIWA Tours Report 2016<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Guided Kirtland\u2019s warbler tours are the best opportunity to view this endangered songbird, as nearly all Kirtland\u2019s warbler nesting areas are closed and posted against public entry during the nesting season.\u00a0 Kirtland\u2019s warblers are rarely seen in Michigan outside of their nesting habitat.<\/p>\n<p>Tour dates- May 17, Sunday (Monday raindate) immediately following the end of the Tawas Point 2020 Migration, then followed by five consecutive Saturdays -May 30th, <br \/>June 6th, 13th, 20th and June 27th, 2020. <strong>(Saturday only)\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>Rain or poor weather makeup dates will be the following day (Sundays).\u00a0 You may call Camp Inn Lodge.\u00a0 We will also send out Facebook notifications if you \u201clike\u201d our <strong>Facebook<\/strong> you will receive at registration<strong>.\u00a0 <\/strong>Just indicate<strong> \u201cgoing\u201d <\/strong>in KW Event<strong>.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sign in Time is 7:30 a.m so please arrive a few minutes early.<br \/>Place &#8211; Tours begin promptly at 8 a.m. at the Camp Inn Lodge, 3111 U.S. 23 in Oscoda, MI. \u00a0The Lodge is located about 2 miles south of Oscoda and the AuSable River.\u00a0 For directions see\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.campinnlodge.com\"><strong>www.campinnlodge.com<\/strong><\/a> or <strong>Facebook: <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/CampInnLodgeOscoda\">Camp Inn Lodge Oscoda<\/a><\/p>\n<p>A short introduction and video about the Kirtland\u2019s will be shown.\u00a0 Then, participants will follow the guide and carpool in their own vehicles to the U.S. Forest Service KW PMArea also in Oscoda.<\/p>\n<p>Reservations &#8211; Reservations are strongly encouraged 24 hrs. in advance and may be best made by calling the Lodge at 989-739-2021, or via email at <a href=\"mailto:campinnlodge@gmail.com\"><strong>campinnlodge@gmail.com<\/strong><\/a>.
