{"id":1808,"date":"2015-07-29T16:30:26","date_gmt":"2015-07-29T20:30:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ausablevalleyaudubon.org\/?p=1808"},"modified":"2015-07-29T16:30:26","modified_gmt":"2015-07-29T20:30:26","slug":"four-intrepid-adventurers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ausablevalleyaudubon.org\/?p=1808","title":{"rendered":"Four Intrepid Adventurers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"yiv7628481040MsoNormal\">The field trip to Shiawasee National Wildlife Refuge followed by a tasty lunch at the Savoy in Saginaw on Thursday, July 23, 2015 was greatly enjoyed by the four AVA members Larry, Sue, Eugenia and Kathy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv7628481040MsoNormal\">A total of 27 bird species were identified, along with a few mammals.\u00a0 A few unknowns were also spotted:\u00a0 duck and sparrow species.\u00a0 Of particular enjoyment were the abundant Great Egret and Great Blue Heron. A surprise sighting was also in store near the auto drive tour end.
