“Free” Guided tours of Kirtland’s Warbler habitat in local National Forest in Oscoda, MI
We encourage you to attend one of the 3 remaining Saturday (June 13, 20 and 27) our Kirtlands Warbler FREE guided tours. Our Chapter President, Ruth Golm and husband, David had a lifetime experience on the May 30th tour led by Matt. It was a truly awesome experience, birds were singing everywhere and very, very visible. IOSCO Co Herald published on June 9 or 10, shown in enclosed picture below includes great pictures of KW’s and an article by the editor who also accompanied us.
Sign up for one of our last 3 weekly tours this 2020 breeding season. Please invite your friends, family or neighbors, etc. to join you. Reservation should be made by calling (989) 739-2021 at Camp Inn. Each Saturday (June 13, 20 and 27), your day begins at 7:30 am with a video and then carpool to various KW locations under the direction and instructions of our professional guide. Remember to wear a mask while indoors and respect the 6 ft distances. A Tri-pod mounted, long-range scope will be available to get a “birds-eye” view of a several birds. ...AuSable Valley Audubon updated their cover photo.
