📢 October Big Day is here! This October 12, join birders worldwide in submitting your bird observations to eBird! 🌍
We had a couple of pretty exciting days at Whitefish Point this week in terms of rarities! Multiple Sabine's Gulls and Harris's Sparrows, a Long-tailed Jaeger, a Townsend's Solitaire, and Michigan's 8th record of Chestnut-collared Longspur. The longspur spent two days here hiding among the dunes near the Point. We can't wait to see what observations we can add today as part of October Big Day efforts!
